Pediatric physical therapy at Tangerine Therapy focuses on treating babies, toddlers, and young children with various orthopedic, neurologic, genetic, and congenital conditions. The physical therapist will improve function, restore mobility, and independence and also help achieve milestones. Your child will first be evaluated and a treatment plan will be created for limitations such as: decreased strength, balance, range of motion, and coordination. The ultimate goal will be to enhance development through functional independence and provide education to the family to maintain skills achieved through therapy.

Pediatric occupational therapy at Tangerine Therapy serves infants, toddlers, and young children within the context of where they participate in most of their meaningful daily occupations, or activities: the natural environment. The occupational therapist will address concerns and deficits in the areas of fine motor development, social and emotional skills, developmental play skills, behavior, self care activities, visual motor development, and/or sensory processing. Your child will first be evaluated and a treatment plan will be created utilizing information from the therapist’s assessment in conjunction with your concerns and priorities for intervention. The ultimate goal will be to support your child’s overall development through active engagement in his or her meaningful and necessary activities of daily living in order to optimize performance, participation, and developmental potential.
